This summer, we'll celebrate our library’s 150th anniversary during Tuesdays at Ten with a dive into library and local history. We have a lineup of experts ready to share stories, old and new.
This week, we will talk about how two siblings from Urbana -- Charles "Chic" Sale and his younger sister Virginia -- had successful careers in show business as character actors, appearing both on stage and in the movies. We'll also look at some of their career highlights.
About the presenter: Perry C. Morris has been researching local theatre history since getting involved in the effort to save the Orpheum Theatre in 1989. Perry maintains the CUTheaterHistory.com website and is the Vice President of the Champaign County History Museum.
