Staff will demo how to get started using an Apple computer. If it's been awhile or you want to learn more about Apple computers then this is the workshop for you.
Join library staff for this free workshop where we'll explore the basics of files, folders and the tools to help you find them using Apple computers.
Staff will demonstrate how to use and navigate Apple’s file explorer known as the Finder. We will cover topics such as searching for files, creating folders, sorting and moving files, and best practices for naming and organizing files on Apple computers.
This is a companion workshop to Introduction to Apple Computers, scheduled for February 4, attending both workshops is recommended for an introduction to Apple computers.
This workshop does not provide laptops for participants - it is recommended that you bring your own Apple computer if you have one or attend without a laptop to watch the demonstrations.
