The Summer 2025 Money Matter$ series: Financial Pathways Workshops include 6 different topics for each session: Budgeting, Making Budgets Work, Credit Scores and Reports, Debt Management, Considering Home Ownership and Mortgages. The workshops take place from June to August 2025 on the second and fourth Thursdays at the Douglass Branch Library.
About the Presenter:
As a Community Banking Mortgage Loan Officer, Michelle Stallmeyer works with first-time homeowners to help them prepare to buy a home. Before coming to Busey Bank she was at Habitat for Humanity, and she also had roles as a Housing Counselor, Credit Counselor, and a Financial Capability coach.

The beautiful Douglass Branch Library stands in Douglass Park, just west of Booker T. Washington STEM Academy in north Champaign. The Branch offers many of the same collections and services as the Main Library, including free events for all ages, public computers with internet access, and a large meeting room.
