Gardening season is here! Local experts will share gardening tips and tricks, plant information, and more in this five-part series. This week, our presenter will discuss rain gardens and their benefits to the built environment, including wildlife habitat creation, water quality improvement, and enhanced landscape aesthetics. By the end of this presentation, you'll be empowered with resources to envision healthier spaces for your community.
About the presenter: Maddy Craft is an Outreach Associate with Illinois Extension and Illinois Indiana Sea Grant working primarily with green stormwater infrastructure. She is a recent graduate from the Sustainable Design program of University of Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys birdwatching and reading.
